Due to its limited size and highly structured agenda, participation in the International Seminar is by invitation.

The International Seminar on Mathematics Education has been in existence since 2002 at PCMI. The intent of the seminar is to foster conversation among different nations about the teaching of mathematic. Participation is by invitation only.
This seminar serves also as a resource for PCMI Summer Session participants to interact with outstanding professionals from around the world who study the teaching and learning of mathematics.
