General Airport Information

There are four international airports and one smaller regional airport serving the Princeton area. Newark Liberty International is the preferred airport for travelers because of its proximity and the accessibility of public ground transportation options to and from the Princeton area.

Both the Newark Liberty International and Philadelphia International airports are approximately two hours away, if traveling by public transportation, and less than one-and-a-half hours away, if traveling by car.

John F. Kennedy (JFK) International and LaGuardia International airports are each approximately four hours from Princeton by public transportation and two hours by car, assuming no delays.

Trenton-Mercer Airport is a local airport with limited flight service. It is twenty minutes from Princeton by car. Frontier Airlines flies in and out of Trenton-Mercer airport, but flights are limited both in frequency and destination.
